If you play World of Warcraft to any degree of constancy, you probably know just how tiring and tedious the endless hours of grinding for experience can be. You don’t really have much fun in World of Warcraft until you level up to the highest level you can, and only then can you really explore.

However, there are so many quests in WoW that it can be difficult figuring out how to start, or even which one to choose! There are so many side quests and tasks that you can participate in that it could take hours or days to even get to a real quest. You could enjoy doing this for awhile, but you’ll soon find that it begins to bore you, as it’s way too repetitive.

You might look around at the other players who just seem to speed up the level ladder, not knowing how exactly they did it. No matter how hard you try, they always seem to just surpass your current level dramatically. You may even get some ribbing for your apparent lack of gaming skill. As a result, a lot of people want to know how to level more quickly; through questing or endless grinding. They want to know how to start questing effectively. Fortunately, they can benefit from the experience and guidance I can offer through my extensive research in World of Warcraft. Looking at the most effective WoW leveling guides, I learned that I should:

- Not waste time with mobs and just quest

- Returning to the AH to upgrade as you level up is a waste of your time.

- You can find the fastest routes by using an extra program like Quest helper.

- Make use of rested time.

These are just a few of the things drawn from experienced World of Warcraft players. And while it’s a start, it’s really not quite enough to get your speed to the point you want it to be at. They did increase my leveling speed, but I still felt like I was moving in slow motion compared to other players. Luckily, there are leveling guides available to help propel you into the next rank. World of Warcraft pros have written entire guides on leveling that will spell out exactly which quests to choose, and when.

Despite any reservations you may have about the leveling guides, I can assure you that they’ve improved dramatically since the early days. There are many different leveling guides available for WoW, but Zygor’s guide is, by far, the most comprehensive and helpful one out there.

Sure, you might not feel like you need to use a World of Warcraft leveling guide, but many players will benefit form these. My intention isn’t to sell you a guide or advertise a guide, but my own experiences with these guides will hopefully help you enjoy WoW more and level up to your maximum abilities sooner.
