If youve noticed, the internet gaming industry has reached over fifty billion dollars. The gaming companies online have made magical virtual worlds where you can leave your hum-drum real world behind and experience amazing characters, exciting plots and breathtaking venues. World of Warcraft is one of the most booming and famous of these online games.

There can be hundreds or even thousands of players in the game at the same time. They can be playing in different sectors of the particular game. These players also have the option of playing each other. Many have been known to join together and play as a team.

Wrath of the Litch King is the fourth edition in the Warcraft Universe launched by Blizzard Entertainment. The first game of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans was released back in 1994. The World of Warcraft will take you to the world of Azeroth, which is refered to in the game as the Realm. The four year later conclusion as shown in the previous edition of Warcraft III: Frozen throne. This version of the game was released in 2004 , just in time to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Blizzard Entertainment. As of now the world of warcraft is the worlds largest online game with over 10 million players worldwide.

Playing the game involves controlling a character which is exploring and roaming over various sectors. In the process, the characters are engaging in combat with foes and communicating with other players. The pay off includes acquiring gold, obtaining more powers, the location and acquisition of objects which can be either everyday run of the mill or magically enchanted. All this increases experience which results in the furthering of the player’s power level.

The early versions have 60 levels and the expansion pack, The Burning Crusade has 70 levels. The expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King has up to 80 levels. Battles can be fought with other players (PvP) or can be fought with an enemy, based on that current server rules and strategies. The same members can engage in duels which can be loads of fun.

You may notice likenesses between the World of Warcraft characters and the characters found in Dungeons and Dragons. It can be claimed that World of Worcraft was developed using Dungeons and Dragons as a example. Many similarities can be seen.

When a player starts to put together their charecter, they get to decide between eight races. Even after that there are nine character classes that one can choose from.There are two factions which the races are divided into. These are The Alliance and The Horde.Orcs, Trolls, Undead, Tauren and Blood Elves belong in the Horde, as Humans, Gnomes, Dwarves, Night Elves and Draenei make up the Alliance.

Hunter, Paladin, Mage, Shaman, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Druid and Warrior are the nine classes that the player may choose from. The Death knight class is the most recent addition in the latest expansion of the game called Wrath of the Lich King.

In the game the characters are separated into two groups. The first type are the player characters that are real life people. The second group are called nonplayer characters or NPC . These are computer generated characters. This second group or NPC are in addition set apart into three groups. These are friendly, hostile, and neutral NCP.

There are skills that the character picks up during gameplay that do not involve fighting. These qualities are what becomes the character’s profession. There are two kinds of professions,primary and secondary.

Yet one more thing which can directly have an effect on a given character’s progress is their reputation level. The player’s total rewards can hinge on this.Higher levels, are like street cred. You get to them by kicking butt.If you kick enough butt you can get to the higher levels, which give you buying power at the vendors and the ability to get hard to find items.
