« How to Solo With An Alliance Warlock Earn Gold Fast and Easy »
When you are tired of groups and when you want to try something a little different, why not think about rolling up a Warlock? On the Alliance side, Humans and Gnomes can play Warlocks, and while these wielders of dark magic are often known to be great damage dealers, it is also worth looking into the fact that they are perfect for soloing as well. When you are interested in playing a character that can take on just about anything solo, a Warlock is one of your best bets. Check out these tips for playing a solo warlock, and you will find that you are going to start progressing very quickly!
Use Your Pets Wisely
In the very early levels, you are going to get your imp, and while he can be handy because you can summon him with no Soul Shard, you will find that the pet you want for soloing is likely going to be your voidwalker. The voidwalker generates a fair amount of threat, and it has the best armor rating and you will discover that you are going to be able to use it as your tank. It’s going to soak up the damage while you pie on your Damage Over Time spells.
Take It Slow!
When you are playing a warlock and you are playing it on your own, you are likely going to be using the Affliction Talent tree. While Affliction will let you deal out fair amount of damage, it does not let you do it fast! Immolate will let you do some great damage, but it’s spread out over fifteen seconds. To stay alive and get the full damage out of your spells, send in your pet and be patient. Killing mobs can take a while, but they will eventually fall over. For a cloth wearer, the Warlock has an impressively high survivability.
Go Pick Flowers
One thing that turns people away from Warlocks when they are thinking about soloing is the fact that they cannot heal themselves. However, this is where Herbalism and Alchemy can come in. With the Herablism profession, you will be able to take advantage of the bonus of Lifeblood, which is a heal over time spell. With Alchemy, you can craft potions for healing and for better mana as well. Take some time and consider what your options are going to be and remember that these professions can really help you out.
Find a WoW Guide
If you have been playing WoW for a while, you know that there is a lot of material out there that you can work with. A good WoW guide can be perfect when you are looking at leveling in a matter of weeks rather than months, so consider finding the best guide that will help you do so!
