If youve noticed, the internet gaming industry has reached over fifty billion dollars. The gaming companies online have created magical virtual worlds where you can leave your hum-drum real world behind and experience amazing characters, exciting plots and breathtaking venues. World of Warcraft is one of the most successful and popular of these online games.

There can be hundreds or even thousands of players in the game at the same time. They can be playing in different regions of the particular game. These players also have the option of playing each other. Many have been known to join together and play as a unit.

Wrath of the Litch King is the fourth edition in the Warcraft Universe launched by Blizzard Entertainment. The introductory version of the game of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans was released back in 1994. The World of Warcraft will bring you to the world of Azeroth, which is refered to in the game as the Realm. The four year later conclusion as shown in the previous edition of Warcraft III: Frozen throne. This version of the game was released in 2004 , just in time to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Blizzard Entertainment. At this time the world of warcraft is the worlds largest online game with over 10 million players worldwide.

Gameplay involves the control and playing of characters roaming across(trekking) and exploring the different sectors, battling enemies and chatting with other players. The rewards are more money, powers, items,both normal and enchanted, experience which in turn increases the players overall power level.

The first installments of the game had merely 60 power levels. The Burning Crusade expansion pack brought this up to 70 power levels. The release of The Wrath of the Litch King brings the available power levels to 80.You can engage other players in combat or you may fight an opponant generated by the program.Fighting other players can be loads of fun since they are doing their best to vanquish you.This also makes the game interactive and unpredictable.

You may notice resemblances between the World of Warcraft characters and the characters found in Dungeons and Dragons. It can be asserted that World of Worcraft was developed using Dungeons and Dragons as a example. Many similarities can be seen.

When a player starts to put together their charecter, they get to choose between eight races. Even after that there are nine character classes that one can pick from.There are two factions which the races are divided into. These are The Alliance and The Horde.Orcs, Trolls, Undead, Tauren and Blood Elves make up the Horde, as Humans, Gnomes, Dwarves, Night Elves and Draenei make up the Alliance.

The character classes available are Hunter, Paladin, Mage, Shaman, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Druid and Warrior.A new class, the Death Knight was made available with the latest version of the game called Wrath of the Litch King.

In World of Warcraft, there are two types of characters, player characters,which are real people and Non player characters (NCP),which are generated by the game. Then there are three types of NCP which are friendly, hostile and Neutral NCP.

As the characters engage in the game, They will acquire abilities that do not involve combat. These qualities are that characters profession. The professions are split up into two types which are primary and secondary.

Another thing that can have a direct effect on the player’s development and ultimate rewards are the reputation levels. The player achieves|attains|acquires|gets to| the higher reputation levels by conquering a given region or overcoming mighty foes.The benefits of a higher reputation include buying at a discount at the vendors and getting unique objects. Just think of it like street cred.
