There are so many items on World of Warcraft, and definitely not enough inventory space to keep them all. The higher your level, the more space you need. It can be quite challenging finding creative ways to manage your inventory.

So what can you do when your hoarding tendencies are threatened? Jonathan Kenins of Secret Warcraft offers a couple of useful tips in dealing with this kind of problem

First you should take full advantage of the bag slots, bank slots and character slots that you do have available. You are allowed to create 5 characters on each server…So what you do is you create a low level character, and put them in each of their respective auction houses (If you’re playing both sides)

Buy Netherweave Bags for 5g to 7g, these are 16-slot bags that you can equip your characters with. Another bag to look at are Traveller’s Backpack, these are not soulbound so you can transfer them to your other characters. By equipping your characters with the 16-slot bags you’re already taking advantage of the bag slots available to you.

You can maximize your bank slots by buying the slots available there. The first few slots are quite cheap and useful when you start making gold. It’s not that expensive to buy the 25g slot, it’s definitely worth it in the long run.

Most people are happy with that, maximizing their inventory slots with Netherweave Bags as well as buying the bank slots… But if you really, really need more space, then another option is to set up your own banking guild. A lot of people do this, they go around offering people gold to sign their guild charter, I’ve earned quite a bit of cash from these people when I was still new and barely had any cash, so it was a welcome money-making opportunity for me back then, but then I discovered Secret Warcraft and Ive been following Jonathans guides, videos, and podcasts since then.

So these are some creative ways to create more inventory space for you on WoW… Create low level characters, buy bank slots, equip all of your characters with bags, or create your own banking guild.
