Many players in WoW have a hard time making gold. If you are a WoW subscriber you probably know the pain of getting and holding onto some gold. And you probably know by now if you buy gold from sites the only thing that happens is that you get banned or hacked. But there are plenty of places in this game to help you earn some gold. It’s simply a matter of knowing where to farm for it. The auction house is also a useful tool I will cover.

Here are a few tips to making some gold:

-Herbalism is one of the better methods for gold income. Even if you are low level Loch Modan is a great place to farm gold. If you are reaching a higher level you can check out Swamp of Sorrows as well as Hitherlands. There are tons of Ghost Cap mushrooms in the Hitherland caves.

-Once you reach around level 54, Winterspring is a great place as well. There are tons of Ghosts that spawn at the frozen lake which can be farmed for plenty of good items. Black lotuses grow in this area too if you are an herbalist. These sell for quite a bit of gold on the auction house.

-If you are a miner, there tons of tin veins in the Southern Barrens as well as Ashenvale. Once you reach a higher level there are plenty of Mithril mines in Ungoro, Gadgetzan, and Tanaris.

-Hunting limited supply items is another great way to make some gold. Basically you seek out random vendors through the game and buy their items only to place them back up on the AH for more. There are tons of patterns and recipes as well as rare mats which are needed for a specific profession.

-Humanoids is the type of monster you should focus on, even undeads and ogres count toward this. The cloth they drop always gets you good money as well as vendorable weapons. Green items come off them frequently as well which is great for enchanting.

-You can get alot of gold from Dustwallow Marsh as well. Skinning is the prime skill to have for this area. The eastern beach is covered in level 36 to 38 turtles for you to skin. The alligators in the area have a bountiful as well but you shouldn’t attack them before level 38.

-You can make tons of money throughout the instances in the game but they can be a challenge to do alone. You can score quite a bit of gold in the Scarlet Monastery Library if you are looking for quick cash. If you can handle it alone it is a great open for getting some gold.
