« Easy leveling on World of Warcraft How To Create Gold In World of Warcraft »
The cooking profession has the potential to be one of the most lucrative in World of Warcraft. The fact of the matter is that everyone in WoW can benefit from top grade foods, most people are too lazy however to take the cooking profession to a level where it becomes a gold mine.
So many World of Warcraft players write the cooking profession of as useless and boring. If you are after gold however, you can use cooking to make a heap of it. One way you can do this is by selling top quality “buffing” foods.
The cooking profession is only lucrative when used to make high end items. Don’t waste your time on the low end jobs as these just aren’t worth it. After patch 2.3 was released, cooking quests became an option. These can be done daily to make around 7 gold a time. You’ll also occasionally pick up new recipes through completing these quests.
Like I mentioned above, you can make money by cooking “buffing” foods. You might be thinking “but Mages can create food and drink too”, the benefit you have over them is that their spells don’t usually produce foods that can give you a temporary lift in your stats.
Some of the foods you are able to create when you become a good cook can give a bonus to Spell, Stamina, Spirit, Healing, Damage and more. You can also use these recipes on pets which is another advantage!
Another way advanced player’s use the Cooking profession to make even more money is by combining it with Fishing. These two professions go together extremely well.
Because Cooking is a secondary skill you won’t need to worry about it interfering with your trade skills. There’s no real negative to choosing Cooking as one of your secondary skills.
Making gold in World of Warcraft doesn’t pose many limits to players who are willing to be determined and use their imagination.
