« Getting more inventory space on WoW Black Tabby Cat “farming” »
Good news for pet fans on World Of Warcraft. Pets are not only cute and fun to collect, but they are also a good source of gold if you know how to work this to your advantage.
White Kittens are a good example, you can buy these from Lil Timmy for 60s each, he wanders around Stormwind selling these limited supply pet, so it can be quite difficult to obtain, but it’s certainly worth it because you can sell White Kittens for 100g to 250g on the alliance side, and up to 500g if you know how to do cross-faction trading and sell it on the horde side.
Another huge gold-maker is the Black Tabby. You can get Black Tabbys as a drop from the Dalaran Spellscribes in Silverpine Forest. These are level 21 mages which spawn every 4 hours.
Black Tabbys aren’t very hard to acquire, the drop rates are quite high, but you do need patience because of the 4 hour spawning time of the Dalaran Spellscribes. Make sure that your character is at least level 20, so you won’t have a hard time killing this mob.
The Dalaran Spellscribe will appear at one of 3 spawn points within Amber Mill in Silverpine. The first spot is the second shack to the left when youre standing in the entrance to the compound. The second spawn point is the largest room of the main building that should be right in front of you. The third one is in the building furthest to your right.
Sitting there all day is not necessary. All you have to do is position your character and log in every couple of hours to check if the Dalaran Spellscribe has re-spawned. You can type “/target dalaran” or use a macro to see if he has indeed re-spawned, if he has then just kill him and get your loot.
If you keep doing this, youll be able to get 3 or more a week. And like I said earlier, these are very rare items. You will be able to get at least 500g to 600g if you just sell it on the horde side auction house. The real money, however, is in cross-faction trading. If you can sell these Black Tabbys in the neutral auction house or even on the alliance auction house, you will probably be able to make around 1500g to 2500g for each Black Tabby.
Black Tabby farming can be a really good gold-making opportunity taking into consideration the fact that it’s not that hard to get. It just takes some consistency and a bit of patience on your part for the constant logging in and checking of spawns.
