I started to work with an Aion leveling guide as soon as I passed to the Abyss areas, as the XP here is quite difficult especially if you don’t know where to go and what to do. Even if I never liked to use guides for playing my MMOs, this turned to be a great idea, as this guide has set my leveling back on track, showing me how to keep a high and smooth XP rate at all time.

However, this Aion leveling guide I started to work with really helped me, showing me a few quest routes and quite many NPC clusters with quests that I had no idea about. This took my progress back in line. Being step-by-step written, this Aion leveling guide taught me what exactly what to do and where to go for each task I was about to complete. Also, it helped me a lot in associating my quests completing quite a few at one time, at every location. Since the XP from quests wasn’t enough and each level had its share of grinding, following the quest routes of this Aion leveling guide I’ve found quite many good spots to grind and here are a few of them:

1. First spot it located in the Upper Abyss, at Lake Asteria, to the North-East. The mobs to be grinded on here, are the Mirrorglass Waterworms, level 30. They are pretty squishy and they drop nice loot.

2. My second spot is placed also near Lake Asteria, within the Upper Abyss. To get there, head to the top island, West from the lake and grind an all the Balaur NPCs there. Great spot for XP at level 32+ and you will get nice loot here as well.

3. Another excellent spot for grinding is on the lower island, West from Lake Asteria. All the creatures here are undead. All the mobs are undead, levels 33-34, very easy to kill.

These are far from being the only spots to grind on within the Abyss and I only recommend grinding after you have finished each and every quest in an area. However, this Aion leveling guide has shown me the best 1-50 leveling path along with the best spots to grind in the Aion Online.
