7 Tips to Improve Your WoW Performance
Posted by Heather-Jane Hunter in World Of Warcraft
With so much trashy information available on the internet these days, it can be a hit and miss affair as to whether you find what you’re looking for. In this article I’m going to share with you 7 fundamental tips that you can use to up you WoW performance immediately.
1. Read your quest journal well.
A common mistake that many players make is to ask for directions in chat boxes. This can waste a lot of time and side track your effort. You quest journal has all the info and directions you need in order to complete each quest. Alternatively, ask a city guard for directions.
2. Study your environment early.
Minimize the time you spend darting about blindly by spending 5 minutes to study an area map. This should be done whenever you get to a new area - by doing this you’ll save hours of wasted time.
3. Experiment with characters.
Work out via experimentation which character will be most effective for you. It’s obviously best to do tis experimentation early on in the game.
4. Choose a profession wisely.
Don’t rush in to choosing a profession. Choose the profession that is most likely going to help you towards your goal in the game. Are you looking to make money or become a killing machine? Think about these types of things before settling on a profession and remember that each profession has a trade which matches it.
5. Get out and Go Questing.
Questing will help you level much faster than hunting and killing. Keep this in mind. It also provides you with a lot of gold and other rewards.
6. Quest lines are not restricted to race.
Many players either forget, or don’t know, that questing isn’t limited to your race. If for example you are a human, this doesn’t mean that you have to do solely human quests. Knowing this can make a big difference to your levelling progress throughout the game.
7. Choose your race carefully.
When choosing between Horde and Alliance, remember that the Alliance has more content but is also much busier. Choosing Horde can mean you have more resources and less competition.
